This week we read David Goes to School by David Shannon.  We decided to come up with ways that David could be a better CHAMP!

Small deli meat containers!

Today your student will bring home their “Roughneck Take-home Folder.”  Please check this folder every night for notes, student work and their reading log.

Today’s notes include:

• Blog permission form – please sign and return
• Student planner note – please review
• Parental involvement survey – please fill out and return

Your child will also bring home their student planner.  This will act as an open communication between your child, myself and you.  Please check it daily for behavior notes from myself and messages from your child!

I am so excited for tomorrow!  Class will begin promptly at 8, so be ready!  We are going to have so much fun!

If you need help with purchasing supplies just let me know.  I have bought extras of many needed items.

Also, do not forget to fill out transportation forms and return them tomorrow if you haven’t already!

The pep rally has been cancelled.

Tomorrow will be an early release day for teacher training.

PreK will be released at 11:00

K-2 will be released at 11:30
