Kaeden and Raidyn assisted me in teaching math today. They helped lead an amazing discussion about the different combinations of a number. Example: 0+7=7, 1+6=7, 2+5=7

During the first few weeks of school we studied colors.  We learned about primary colors and how to mix them to make secondary colors.  We learned about different artists and recreated some of their work.  I was so proud to watch each student discuss what they loved about the different paintings!

Cohen and Victoria decided that they could teach other classes what we learned by interviewing an expert.  They chose to interview Piet Mondrian.  They came up with the questions and answers for the interview. Please enjoy this video of their writing assignment!

Today and tomorrow I will be testing kids outside of the classroom. There will be a substitute in my classroom, while I individually test each student. We did not send home take home folders today because of this.

This week we will not have a spelling test or any new spelling words. However, remember that each spelling test will have words from previous tests.
