Book orders are due on Thursday, February 2.  This is a great way to help your kids read at home! The “Just Right Books” flyer has leveled books that are perfect for first graders.  Levels A-J are a great fit for our class! The online order code for our class is JGKVF.

Please remember to read every night with your child! It is very important!

In math we are working on time to the hour and half hour, subtraction and combinations.

We will also learn about compound words this week!

Please practice for the Champ’s Assembly.  Each child will bring home their lines to practice.

This week we will be hosting the Champ’s Assembly.  It will take place in the cafeteria Friday morning, the 20th, at 8:00am.

Last Friday was our first Champ’s Assembly and we won the GOLDEN FORK!  That means that our class was picked as the most well-behaved during lunch out of the whole campus! CONGRATS!

Please help your child write 2 adjectives that describe themselves on the sticky notes in their planners! Thanks!

Hey guys! Primary parents will not be allowed to come in through the intermediate entrance for the Christmas party. Please make sure you come in through the primary office. This is the entrance/exit for car pick up.

Also, kindergarten through fifth grade will be having parties tomorrow at the same time, which will make the parking lots full! Parents are not allowed in the building to set up until 8:30, but I would recommend getting here before that. That way, you will not have to park in the band parking lot if/when ours fills up!
