Champs Assembly

This Friday our class will host the Champ’s Assembly. Today I sent home your child’s lines to practice. Please go over these with your child.  I also attached the song to practice. Your child can practice the song by clicking here.

Today is the first day of our spring reading contest. Your child will have a note explaining the contest, along with a new reading log.

Thanks for all you do,

Ms. Jones

Spring Student-Led Parent Conferences

We will have SPRING STUDENT-LED PARENT CONFERENCES on Wednesday, March 20th. These will be short 10-20 minute meetings led by your child. If you are not able to attend on this day, someone will sit in with your child so that they are still allowed to present their work. If you would like to have a separate conference along with the student-led conference you may email me or let me know during your student-led conference. I will be happy to set something up!

Please click here to pick a time for your conference!

Thanks,

Ms. Jones

Valentine’s Day Party

We have a new student in our class! His name is Joshua and he isn’t included on the list of names I sent home last week. Please make sure you add him to your Valentine card list!

The class decided that they want to have an ice cream party for Valentine’s Day.  We took several surveys to decide what kind of things we need for the celebration!  I created a “Sign Up Genius” page with everything that we need! CLICK HERE to sign-up to bring something. Also, if you want to bring any other treats or goodies, you are more than welcome to do so! I am providing the ice cream and we have left over M&Ms from our 100th Day celebration as a topping! I also have a parent that is bringing a fruit tray.

Just one more thing… If you are able to come help set up the party around 11:00-11:15, I would appreciate it so much!

Thank you for all you do!

Love,

Ms. Jones

CHAMP’s Assembly!

Just a reminder that tomorrow will be our first assembly for the year.  There will be one every Friday until the end of the year.  They will be held in the cafeteria from 8:00 to about 8:30.  Parents are more than welcome to come. However, our class will not be on the stage until it is our turn to host the assembly on March 29.  I will send more information about that later on.

Thanks,

Ms. Jones

Important Info:

Tomorrow will be Polar Express Day! Students may wear their pajamas to school.

SCHEDULE CHANGE: I have rescheduled board game day to Wednesday, December 19. Please bring a board game to school Wednesday that your child knows how to play!

Don’t forget to bring a wrapped puzzle to school. Several people still haven’t brought them. If you cannot supply one, please, send me a note so that I can provide one for you.

Thanks,

Ms. Jones
